Clearfield was recently approached by a company looking to build a FTTH network in a new residential development. During the project planning phase it was discovered that a traditional fiber roll out would not allow for the flexibility and cost that they had intended. When faced with this problem, the company reached out to Clearfield. Clearfield’s ingenuity and product flexibility, along with the customer’s ideas and broad-mindedness, brought about a solution that lowered construction costs, splicing costs, and maintenance costs. The customer is excited that Clearfield’s solution is scalable and will allow their fiber network to cost effectively expand alongside the growing development.
